Of the strong yellow English roses, this is my favorite. It's a vigorous plant which can get to be about 7' tall and 8' wide. The canes arch over and are laden with big cupped shaped blooms. The fragrance is light. Blackspot susceptibility is average. There is a big spring flush, sporadic bloom in summer, and a fall flush. Bred in 1983 by David Austin, rated as hardy from zone 4. The commercial name of this rose can be looked up at www.helpmefind.com/roses.
