This very vigorous climber  has  large, dark glossy green leaves with good disease resistance in my location.  This is one I find has a lovely fragrance when some others do not.  The blooms are white with a slight greenish tinge to the outer petals, and are  pink in the centers.  They are very rounded, cabbagy,  and old fashioined looking.  The best bloom is in the spring but there is some rebloom.  It reminds me of a larger flowered Clotilde Soupert.  Bred in 1987 by Meilland, it is a Romantica rose also known as Pierre de Ronsard.  Rated as hardy from zone 4.
