I think this is one of the best pink climbers.  It puts on a spectacular show in spring with intermittent bloom through the summer and a nice fall flush.  The medium large blooms are a light pink with a deeper pink reverse. Sometimes they are high centered and sometimes they are flat and quartered.  There is a moderate fragrance. I have one growing on an arbor where it blooms in considerable shade.  It is a seedling of New Dawn and is pretty thorny.    Bred in 1951, rated as hardy from zone 4.
