Comtesse du Cayla
This is one of the best blooming Chinas.  It takes a rest in the hottest part of the summer but is otherwise almost always in bloom.  It is a twiggy shrubby plant about 5x5' with very healthy glossy leaves.  It could be grown well in a no-spray garden.  The blooms vary in size with the amount of water they're getting but are usually medium sized.  With lots of water they're large.  They are a beautiful blend of coppery pink, salmon, with a touch of yellow.  There is some fragrance.  Bred by Guillot in 1902 in France, rated as hardy from zone 7.
