E. Veyrat Hermanos
I'm undecided about this rose.  My first plant was in quite a bit of shade and there it grew extremely well, and it bloomed but most of the blooms balled, or failed to open.  When they did open, they were absolutely beautiful.  I have started a second plant which I'm going to put in a warmer, sunnier spot.  I have heard that this plant must be mature before it will do well.  I think it's best suited for a warm climate.  It has been much sought after and is also known as Pillar of Gold.  Bred in 1895, rated as hardy from zone 7.
