Hermosa is a compact plant well suited to growing in front of taller roses.  It grows to about 3 1/2 x 3 1/2' .  The small to medium blooms are a romantic cupped shape, often very cabbagy.  There is some fragrance and rebloom.  It seems to be a cross between a China and a Bourbon.  The lavender pink color is very welcome in my garden.  Bred in 1837 by Marchesseau, rated as hardy from zone 5.
