My small one-person rose nursery is located in the foothills of the Appalachians. I grow about 350 different kinds of antique and modern roses and offer mainly the older varieties. All plants are grown from cuttings. Own-root plants usually start out smaller than the grafted plants which are widely available in stores, but they usually catch up in size pretty quickly. Most of our roses are grown in 16 0z. containers and are approximately 6" to 15" tall. This size is much more economical to ship. I recommend potting them up in gallon pots when they arrive. When growth is resumed and the roots fill in the pots a bit they are ready to be planted in the garden. If you'd like a measurement of the plant you are buying I will be happy to provide that so you know what you're getting.
Most plants are $14 unless otherwise stated on individual rose pages. Delbards , and Austins are $17.95.
Shipping is $11 per box of one to four plants sent East of the MS river and is $13 sent West of the MS river.
As of February 2013 we regret that we will no longer be shipping to states west of the Rocky Mountains including California, Utah, Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Arizona, Alaska, Hawaii, and Nevada.
