The pristine white blooms on this plant have a lovely shape and are long lasting. They occur in great numbers. In some parts of the country this rose is so blackspot free that it is planted like any other shrub that needs little maintainance. In the humid south it gets some blackspot but it's not bad. Rebloom is very good. The plant is shrubby. It received numerous awards and was voted world's most favorite rose in 1983. Bred by Kordes in 1958, rated as hardy from zone 4.
