One of the first to bloom in spring and the last to stop blooming in fall, this is a vigorous, twiggy plant which blooms on and off all season. It's suitable for a no-spray garden. The plant really builds some momentum after a few years and puts out a prodigious quantity of blooms. They are medium sized, occur in clusters, and are a blend of light and darker pink. In fall there are many small orange hips. From the mid 1700's, hardy from zone 6.
