One of the first to bloom in spring and the last to stop blooming in fall, this is a vigorous, twiggy plant which blooms on and off all season.  It's suitable for a no-spray garden.  The plant really builds some momentum after a few years and puts out a prodigious quantity of blooms.  They are medium sized, occur in clusters, and are a blend of light and darker pink.  In fall there are many small orange hips.  From the mid 1700's, hardy from zone 6.
